Q:    How do I join the Association?
A:    By downloading membership application form and returning to PO Box 302-486 North Harbour Auckland.

Q:    Does the Association provide Industry Training Courses?
A:    Yes, the association provides courses such as the Introduction Course - accreditation certificate and Solid Fuel    Appliance Installation Technician (SFAIT) - installers certificate.

Q:    What is an Accreditation Certificate?
A: 
   This course is designed for everyone involved in the solid fuel heating industry.  It is a must for all sales people, manufacturers, retailers and installers.

The course covers enviromental issues, description and sizing, installation, operation and maintenance of solid fuel appliances.  One day courses are held throughout New Zealand and the timetable can be obtained from NZHHA office on 09 442 4261 or info@homeheat.co.nz

Q:    What is a SFAIT certificate?
A:    On completion of this course, the applicant will be classified as a Solid Fuel Appliance Installation Technician.  The applicant must first attend the Introductuion Course and have a proven record of solid fuel appliance installations.
